Sewing is the means I use to experess myself.  I prefer to create spontaneously; I love surprises!  Over the years, my work has developed a consistant motif of flowing lines and shapes.  With respect to craftsmanship, I strive to accomplish the best possible results whether I am working or teaching.  I love vibrant colors and contrast.  I have an extensive background in fine art.  With watercolor as my initial primary medium,  I am inclined to add paint to the surface of my textiles.  The classes I have developed are a direct result of my favorite methods and discoveries.  I am pleased and prepared to share these concepts.
